Loving you book, loving your lessons. I’ve already broken through to something new in my art and am following that vein. No fear. Thank you! Grace
Kelly Huddleston
Hi Dr. Hillis! Just wanted to introduce myself, and say hello. My name is Kelly. I am 44 y.o.. I have loved drawing and painting since I was a child. When I was young, I wanted to become an artist. However, life took me in a different direction. I became a nurse instead. Long story short, I am now beginning my artist’s journey at the age of 44. I retired myself from nursing to pursue my dreams. I was taking graphic design online through The Art Institute, but they have unfortunately shut down all branches. I hope to start at Florida Southern soon to pursue a degree in studio arts, which I think I will enjoy more. Big changes for me within the last year and your book couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I want to thank you for that. I just got your book today, and honestly, within the first five pages of section one, you completely described me. It was a bit uncanny, lol. I don’t really recall how I stumbled upon your book, but I’m glad I did. So, I again, want to thank you in advance for giving me the guidance I need to get out of the block I am currently in. Thank you.
