Wish your art leaped off the canvas—bold, joyful, unforgettable?

Color Pop Intensive: Van Gogh Green, Turner’s Yellow, Think Pink & Matisse Red

Discover the palettes (and exercises) that defined the masters, reimagined for your unique abstract path.

In these four juicy sessions, you’ll explore:

  • Van Gogh Green: Tap into the energy and emotion of Van Gogh’s trademark greens. We’ll use “Jumbo Maquettes” to unleash your wildest, most layered work—mixing constraint with mark making and value play for powerful, original results.
  • Turner’s Yellow: Journey into the luminous world of J.M.W. Turner. Explore yellow’s mysterious depth through one-color palettes and inventive abstract expressionist approaches—see how constraint and contrast unlock doors to surprise.
  • Think Pink (Inspired by Matisse): Pink isn’t just a trend—it’s a master move. See how Henri Matisse’s legendary “Pink Studio” and “Pink Nude” turned pink into pure illumination. You’ll experiment with “Progressive Maquettes”—one of Nancy’s favorite, most innovative painting practices—to push your creativity further than ever.
  • Matisse Red: Dive deep into the stunning, museum-worthy “Red Studio,” channeling its concept of ‘art within art.’ Your challenge: create mouthwatering, large-scale red abstract paintings with modern diptych techniques. This is courage—and color—on a grand scale.
